What to expect
Come ten minutes early. We take your coat, hand you a robe and slippers, and show you where to leave your phone.
A short, quiet chat about how you are feeling and anything we should know. You choose the pressure and the pace.
Lie back. The room is warm and the light is low. Say so at any moment if you would like softer, firmer or simply stiller.
Tea, water and a little time in the quiet room afterwards, for as long as it is free. There is no clock on the wall.
The space
Soft light, warm floors and rooms made for doing very little.
Three rooms, one of them a double. Each has its own heating, dimmable lamps and a window you can hear the garden through.
Lockers, warm robes and slippers, and a shower with plain, unscented soap. Nothing to remember except yourself.
Floor cushions, blankets and low lamps. No phones and no talking, just somewhere to let your treatment settle.
Loose-leaf tea, mint from the garden and jugs of cold water. Help yourself before and after, and stay as long as you like.
Gift vouchers
A voucher for a treatment, a package or an amount of your choosing. We send it by post in a linen envelope, or by email if the occasion is tomorrow.
Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase.
Good to know
Anything else, call us or send a note. We are happy to talk it through.
Ten minutes before your appointment, so you can change, have a glass of water and settle. If you are running late, please call. We will do our best, but your treatment may need to be shortened so the next guest is not kept waiting.
Yes, please. Mention things like high blood pressure, skin conditions, allergies, recent surgery or medication in the booking note, or at your consultation. We may adapt a treatment or suggest another, and nothing you tell us is ever a problem.
Many treatments can be adapted from the end of the first trimester, so please tell us when you book and we will suggest the right one. Hot stones, deep pressure and body wraps are not suitable during pregnancy. If you are unsure, check with your midwife or GP first.
Cancel or move your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Within 24 hours we may ask for half the treatment price, and a missed appointment is charged in full. Illness is different: just call us.
Only yourself. We provide robes, slippers, towels and a locker. Please leave jewellery at home and keep valuables to a minimum.
